Lebanese hash from the Baalbek valley has a long reputation – historically valuable enough to be traded as currency. The red variety is made from mature plants and aged for 4-8 months.
Flavour and effect
The ageing gives it a deep, spicy, woody flavour, and the mature plants carry more CBN, which makes the effect sedating and deeply relaxing – an evening smoke.
